HMP Five Wells, is a Category C Resettlement Prison with pioneering ideas for Prisoners assuming some responsibilities. HMP Five Wells, is a Category C men's prison, located in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. With a maximum capacity of 1,680, it is the largest prison in the East Midlands, and one of the largest in the UK.
Time commitment per month: Approx 2-3 visits per month, plus board meeting

Applicants do not need any special qualifications or experience as we will provide all necessary training and support. You need to be enthusiastic, open minded, possess effective communication skills and have the ability to exercise sound, objective judgement. Board meetings are held on the 4th Wednesday of every month at 1pm.
Time commitment per month: 2-3 visits per month although this may be higher during training.

HMP Liverpool is a Category B/C local men’s prison situated in the Walton area of Liverpool holding approx. 850 men. It is a large Victorian prison which has recently gone through a major refurbishment programme. Applicants do not need any special qualifications or experience as we will provide all necessary training and support. Candidates need to be over 18 years of age and live within approx. 25 miles of the prison. You need to be enthusiastic, open minded, possess effective communication skills and have the ability to exercise sound, objective judgement. Approx. 2 to 3 visits per month although this may be slightly higher during the first year of training. Board meetings take place the second Monday of each month at 9.30am, Zoom facilities available. Unremunerated though reasonable expenses will be reimbursed

Applicants do not need any special qualifications or experience as we will provide all necessary training and support. Candidates need to be over 18 years of age and live within approx. 25 miles of the prison. HMP Garth is a High Security Long Term Estate – Cat B Trainer. It is situated in a rural setting with no direct public transport links. Wheelchair users may find it challenging as only one wing has a lift and all facilities are built over three storeys high. HMP Garth’s Annual Report 20/21 will be released on 20 May 2022. Unremunerated though reasonable expenses will be reimbursed

You need to be enthusiastic, open minded, possess effective communication skills and have the ability to exercise sound, objective judgement. HMP Wymott is a male Cat C training prison. The prison holds around 1100 men at present; the site covers a large area and is on several levels. It is located at Ulnes Walton village, between Leyland and Chorley, Lancashire. There is a limited bus service to the site.
Time commitment per month: 2 -3 visits per month, this may be higher in the first year of training. Board meetings take place the second Thursday pm of each month.
