Applications are invited from candidates who live within 30 Miles of the Centre. Board meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of every month from 1.30 - 4.30pm. There is also the requirement to meet with other members of the CFMT 3 times a year.

Time commitment per month: Approx. 3 to 4 visits per month plus a minimum of two overseas flights per year.

Applications are invited from candidates who live within approx. 20 Miles of Port of Dover. 3-4 visits per month during probationary year, later reducing to around 2-3 visits. This generally includes: • one or two 1-2-hour monitoring visits per month (carried out any time of day or night with timings generally at Board Members’ discretion) • occasional induction and training activities • occasional additional monitoring visits when high numbers of detainees are present in the holding room. Board meetings generally take place at 10:00am on a weekday, in the last week of each month. The day of the week may vary and is agreed within the Board. The Board keeps its meeting dates under review in order to accommodate the commitments of Board Members where possible. In some circumstances it is possible for Board Members to participate in meetings remotely.

Time commitment per month: 3-4 visits per month during probationary year, later reducing to around 2-3 visits.

Working as one board, the expectation is that members of IMB Gatwick, Stansted and Luton will monitor either Gatwick (including Lunar House Reporting Centre), Stansted or Luton Airport – whichever is nearest to their home location. Board meeting is held on the second Wednesday of every month in central London.

Time commitment per month: Approx. 3 to 4 visits per month during the probationary year, which then reduces to 2 visits.
